Peter Thusat brings more than 20 years of success as a business writer and recruitment/marketing consultant providing measurable solutions in print and broadcast advertising, audio and video communications, media relations, competitive intelligence and sales channel development. He has also worked as a journalist, as a public affairs specialist and as the executive director of a free-market "think tank" focused on government policy at the state at local levels.

A 1982 graduate of the Defense Information School — Peter Thusat currently serves as a partner in the consulting firm Safos & Thusat as CEO of the Libertarian Business Network and as Executive Producer of SMB TrendWire. He maintains active memberships in the Greek Orthodox Church, the Institute of General Semantics, the Life Extension Foundation and the Libertarian Party.

Publisher and Editor of the world famous (or hoping to be) Small Business CEO Weblog, Steve is a 25 year veteran of the Information Technology industry. He has held both technical and executive positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, US Robotics, Inacom, Compucom, Knowledge Alliance and his own firm Dreamriver Group. Steve is particularly adept at leading companies, initiatives and projects that involve growth, very rapid growth. He is very creative and entrepreneurial when it comes to growing a business or any organizational endeavor. Steve is an authentic, progressive and effective professional.

Steve has a B.A. from DePaul University with a focus on International Management; he has done some international work primarily in the European Union countries.
